First we gathered at Encanto Park near the old Crandall home on 20th Ave.  We visited, played Kubbs, some rode the park train, some paddled on the lake, some rode amusement park rides, and some just enjoyed exploring the island.  We ate a hot dog lunch then cleaned up and headed either to the Encanto Park swimming pool or the Ashland church building to cool off.

At the Ashland Ave building, we visited some more.  Many played basketball, some jumped in the bouncy house, some crafted cute hair bows, some played Wii on the wall and many games including a huge scale Scrabble.

In the afternoon, Marilyn Crandall (Lyle's daughter) shared a power point presentation compiled by herself and Suedette Reed (Burdette's daughter).  For those of you who would like a disk of the presentation, you may contact Marilyn Crandall by email at crandallm@cox.net.  To purchase a $10 book about Stan Crandall and the Pharmacy years, please contact Suedette Reed by email at suedette1@msn.com.

At 4pm, we gathered for our family photo.  I loved seeing many Crandall T-shirts reminding us of our adopted motto "Arduo Vinco".  The design for the Crandall T-shirt will be kept on file at Z-Trendz in Yuma for the next 3 years if you would still like to order some.  The cost is around $7/shirt.  You may contact Christi Clark if you would like help ordering more.

In the evening, we enjoyed a spaghetti dinner.  My compliments to Jenn and her dad for the yummy meatball/spaghetti sauce and to Eva and her cohorts for preparing and laying out the rest of the food.  AND big thanks to Bruce and Drucie for keeping us hydrated throughout the day with all of the beverages they provided.  So many of you pitched in to set-up, assist, donate time and supplies, showed many kindnesses throughout the day....We truly have a marvelous family.

In 2011, we visited our Safford roots.  In 2014, we toured the Phoenix years.  In 2016, we hope to get together to revisit our family history in Springville, Utah.  So mark it on your calendars and we'll see you then!

Love you all!
Christianna (Crandall) Clark
